Antique Beam-Sawn Oak Flooring

The Antique Beam-Sawn Oak flooring is made from taking old barn beams and re-sawing them into lumber.  This lumber is then milled onto beautiful tongue and grooved flooring.

You will find frequent knots and some scattered nail holes.

Finding period appropriate materials for a 100 year old house is always a challenge, especially when it comes to wood products. Appalachian Woods is a unique source for high quality wood products derived from reclaimed sources giving any project that instant old look to fit seamlessly within your existing setting.

Reclaimed Oak has wonderful grain patterns and you will find a mixture of regular flat grain and some planks with very distinct quarter-sawn ray fleck.
This Antique Beam-Sawn Oak flooring will not have very many old saw marks like the Barn-Board grade does.

Frequent aging stress cracks, worm holes and knots all add to the rich character of this unique floor.
