Antique Barn-Board Poplar Flooring

The most unique character in this flooring is the dramatic color variations.

Since most of this flooring came from original barn boards, you will see quite a few old saw marks still visible in this flooring.

Colors range from pale yellow tones, golden amber and dark green. 

With time, these colors may mellow some and won't contrast quite as much.

 

Frequent aging stress cracks, worm holes, knots and saw marks all add to the rich character of this unique floor.

While Poplar is one of the softer hardwoods, any dings and dents will only add to the already very aged character.
