Our prefinished plank flooring is finished
with one of the best finishes in the prefinished flooring industry.
You can have confidence that this flooring will give you many years of
service and beauty.
The
finish is a blend of urethane, aluminum oxide, and
silica for a very durable and long lasting finish. The
flooring
is coated 4 (2.5 mil) times on our natural finish and 5 (3.0 mil) times on
our stained finishes. This makes our finish one of the thickest available,
on top of an already impressive 3/4” solid wood floor.
On the Taber
(hardness) test, this UV cured finish withstands
a 1000 gram weight at 1000 cycles. Our product lost only 63.5 milligrams
of finish per 1000 cycles, and only 21-25 milligrams per mil of thickness.
Our product carries a limited warranty of ten years in your home. (No
warranty for commercial use.)
