We have a large volume of reclaimed antique lumber here at our lumber yard and manufacturing facility in Stuarts Draft.

One of the keys to long term success in our business is being able to offer quality lumber to cabinet shops and mill shops around the country.

We have been supplying antique lumber to some of the building industry's finest shops for quite some years now and they have come to trust our ability to ship what has been ordered, on time and with good consistency.

Most lumber listed here is sold rough, but we do have the ability to S4S and S2S any of our lumber.

Antique American Wormy Chestnut

4/4 (1") Chestnut lumber - Available in a variety of widths and lengths. This lumber comes from old barns and houses that have been carefully deconstructed to salvage as much usable wood as possible. We usually sell this lumber in a random width and length which works well for most cabinetry and building projects. If you need specific lengths or widths etc. we can process this for you. All of this lumber will clean up at a 3/4" thickness.

Wide Plank Reclaimed Chestnut - This is 4/4 material that ranges in width from 10" up to 16". The lengths on these boards are from 4' up to 14' with the average being around 5'-7' long. Chestnut of this width that is in good condition and not full of splits etc is hard to find. This is excellent material for wide plank table tops or wide plank flooring. The ongoing supply of this is very limited, so call now for details and price.

3/4" Reclaimed Chestnut lumber - This material will not quite dress out to the usual 3/4" necessary for flooring and most building needs. This material is 3/4" in the rough and will dress to 5/8" or 1/2". This is also usually sold in a random width and length. Limited supplies so please call for details.

2"x4" Chestnut lumber - This material usually comes from the frame construction of old houses and barns. The size is usually a full 2x4, but can vary by as much as 1/2".
The lengths range from 3' up to 12' with most of them about 8' long.

2"x6" - 2"x8" Chestnut - This lumber also may have been used in frame construction of old barns etc. If you need heavy stock that isn't to wide, this works very well.

2"x10" and 2"x12" Chestnut - Excellent material for table tops etc. Sizes vary a bit, but much of this material will clean up to 9" and 11" in width and about 1.5" or 1.75" in thickness. Current availability is limited so please call to check on inventory.

Antique Heart Pine Lumber and Timbers

We have different grades of Antique Heart Pine lumber available: #1 Premium, #2 Select, #3 Country, Naily or Cabin and #1 Premium Vertical Grain.

We can also sell our Antique Heart Pine lumber in a "timber run" grade. With this grading option, we include all lumber, no matter the grade, in with the lumber order. This will give you a greater natural variety in lumber character and have a lower price then if you order all Select or Premium.

4/4 Heart Pine lumber - Available in random width from 3" - 12" and random lengths as well. Specific sizes can be graded out to meet your project needs.
5/4 Heart Pine lumber - Available in various widths and lengths. Usually used for stair tread construction etc.
8/4 Heart Pine lumber - Various sizes
Heart Pine planks - We currently have a good inventory of Heart Pine planks that are about 5.5" x 13" x 12' - 14' long.
Heart Pine beams - Sizes available from 4"x4" up to 12"x15". Lengths on these beams can be from 4' - 16'.

We also have the capabilities to make stair parts like treads, hand rails etc. to go along with our flooring orders.

Original Reclaimed Oak Barn Lumber

	This is a very good example of what the reclaimed barn-board Oak lumber can be used for.

The porch ceiling pictured above, is made from the old salvaged barn lumber. The age and patina of the lumber give this porch a very original and authentic feel.

Our antique Oak lumber is perfect for most custom wood projects and is used commonly in timber framing, cabinetry, furniture, millwork, mouldings, trim and much more.

4/4 Barn-Board Oak lumber - At left is a picture of our barn-board Oak lumber which is a mixture of Red and White Oak lumber that has been salvaged from old barns and houses.
It may have been exterior or interior boards, so the weathering and color varies a great deal.

⁴/₄, ⁵/₄ & ⁸/₄ Antique Beam-sawn lumber

This lumber is sawn from salvaged barn beams. Unlike our barn-board grade of lumber, this beam-sawn grade will not have the original surfaces on the boards.

This lumber is sawn on our precision saw mill and will mostly have a band sawn surface.

At left is a great example of the Reclaimed White Oak planks and beams used in construction of this period style English Tutor.

The aged White Oak turns a rich brown color with a natural oiled surface.

8/4 Mixed Reclaimed Oak lumber - We have a good supply of 2x4's, 2x6's, 2x8's 2x10's and some 2x12's.

Original "Circle-Sawn" Barn Timbers

Larger Mixed Oak timbers - Sizes range from 6x6 to 8x10's and lengths vary greatly. Call for details on this inventory.

4" x 8" Mixed Oak beams - These beams range in length from 4' up to 22 feet long. Customers are using this for exposed beams, post and beam rafter construction etc. These beams are old barn timbers and have the gray aged appearance typical of old barns.

Reclaimed Barn Siding

Inventory at this time is coming from barns here in the Shenandoah Valley. This barn siding is about 6" wide and about 1/2" in thickness. This was originally a horizontal lap siding and has a very nice weathered aged appearance to it. Some is mostly grey and we also have some with faded red or faded white paint. Species of wood is usually mixed, but can at times be specified. Call for details.

This reclaimed barn siding is great for paneling and ceiling planks.

	And to the left is our white siding. These painted planks could be used as is or you could wire brush it for a more faded appearance.

Wormy Red Oak and Wormy White Oak lumber

Right now we have a very good supply of 4/4 Wormy Red Oak lumber and a limited supply of the Wormy White Oak lumber.

Both Red and White Oak, Wormy, are available in very wide planks.

We have some planks up to 16" wide!
